Transliteration of Hebrew הי״ד (literally “H.Y.D.”) the Hebrew language acronym for השם ינקום דמו (hašem yinkōm damō, literally “may Hashem avenge his blood”) or השם ינקום דמה (hašem yinkōm dáma, literally “may Hashem avenge her blood”).
